The new site featured a "torn paper" motif.

Team

I was the lead developer for this project, and worked closely with principal designer to bring their vision to life.

Process

I was responsible for integrating various BU servies under one cohesive framework, creating a seamless experience for visitors. I wrote code to customize and extend the functionality of existing plugins to provide tools including ressource filtering, article publication and profile management.

Complex filtering tools were integrated into the site, allowing prospective students to explore the school's many offerings.

The redesign better incorporates their magazine for more enriched storytelling and methods for promoting it throughout the site. These news tools also afford the client far greater ways to manage their website, and provides a flexible approach for them to maintain and update the site moving forward.

Stats and typographic elements were used to highlight key points.

This new site focuses on Wheelock as a united entity, and highlights their academic offering with a focus on research and world-class prospective students and faculty.

Outcomes

“It's such a joy to see a website that feels worthy of the exciting things going on here!”
